Christ UMC Preschool established 1971

The Christ UMC Preschool Program offers a child-centered developmental curriculum consistent with the highest levels of early childhood education. We provide an atmosphere in which children can experience enriched play and guided development; individual and group activities; and a better understanding of the world around them and their role in it.

Philosophy

It is the philosophy of Christ United Methodist Preschool that “Learning is Fun”. Early childhood should be a time of love, warmth, fun, exploration and discovery. Preschool children are creative and receptive; the staff strives to nurture and encourage these qualities in the children who attend.

The Preschool’s purpose is to provide an atmosphere that encourages social, emotional, physical, spiritual and intellectual growth and development of the child as a whole.
